Just bought a half completed 1965 coupes project. It's a bare bones 6 cylinder/auto car. Everything seems to be with the car and it's got a decent newer paint job on it, it runs like a top and the $3500 price tag seemed fair for this area
The problem I've run into is the mirror for the drivers door. For some reason I have 4 mounting holes in the door, center to center of the two outside holes is 5 5/8". Wondering if any of you have long base mirrors and could tell me if they would cover the extra holes for now. The car is just going to be a cruiser, just running the back roads on the weekends, so I'm not to worried about the correctness of mirrors. Any help or suggestions that would keep me from filling and repainting would greatly be appreciated
