My 1965 GT needs new springs. I know that the GT's had slightly highter spring rates than the standard Mustang. Does anyone know what the original factory GT front and rear spring rates are? Can I document these in any authoritative source?
in rebuilding my suspension with Global West Components, I went with stock rates on all for my 66GT. My understanding is that heavier rates just make the car "launch" over bumps. I like the Konis in the front with reverse valved "cure-ride" shocks in the rear to prevent "jacking". Works well for me.
