1966 driver headlight dim

Driver side headlight dim on low and high beam passenger works fine tail lights are fine also. pulled driver headlight and checked plug end with test light. test light showed dim also. where should I check next?

Should use meter thru every connection from battery to headlight. Normal trouble shooting practice dictates that you test half the circuit, then half of that, etc.. until you pinpoint voltage drop. Multi-meter is friend and cheap to by.
