I am new to the forum and relatively clueless to most things. Some 5 years ago, I started restoring a 1966 coupe with/for my son. The car we bought had been wrecked and was someone else's project car. Fortunately for me, I had two friends that were pretty awesome mechanics who rebuilt the engine (it had seized). Then I moved from the midwest to FL. While I have done a lot of reading - books and online - I know too little to finish up things and just enough to get into trouble. I will have a lot of questions.
That said, the 66 has a 289 engine with power steering and an automatic transmission. It used to have air conditioning and will eventually in the future but is lacking a compressor, pulley, etc. - pretty much everything AC related in the engine is gone. It doesn't have the thermactor emission set up (and won't).
I have put an Edelbrock manifold and an 1403 carb with electric choke on it along with an hei distributor.
So, I am having trouble figuring out what vacuum lines are needed and the photos and diagrams I find appear to have a variety of vacuum systems. Is there a good resource that will not only show me the vacuum system but also indicate what parts are for emission control, AC, distributor, automatic transmission, etc?
