Hello:
New to the forums, have a question regarding the 390 emblems on a 1968 Fastback. Where exactly are they supposed to be placed? I have seen many cars without the emblems, and very few pictures with them on.
Feedback appreciated.
Thanks.

If the car is not a GT then the 390 would appear on the upper portion of the running horse emblem on the front fender. If it is a GT, it would not have any 390 marking.

Well - this is an interesting story. It was car owned by my Godfather from 40 years ago. I have traced it back to the current owner - but I have the emblems in my posession; from my father.
It is the running pony emblem. So the car would be a 1968 390? Not a GT - is that correct?
Thanks.

Sorry - I should specify that the car is a Fastback.

That is the correct emblem for a non GT.. All things being equal, (options, and condition), A GT is worth more then a standard Mustang.
