I am in the process of a complete rebuild of a 1968 mustang 6 cyl. (200 ci.) with a C4. In review of the vacuum system (dual vacuum distributor) it seems that I may be missing some components such as a distributor vacuum control valve and filter (removed and plugged at the water pump). I see these components listed for a V8 and a 250 ci 6 cyl. at NPD (page 218). Is this the same for a 200 ci 6 cyl.? What is the consideration for the filter? My 1968 mustang chassis specification manual shows the filter as a 12A120 part, but I have not been able to locate this part.

Your direction and help will be much appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I think what you are looking for is a C8AZ-12A120-A filter.

OK, where do you find this filter, what does it look like? And is the distributor vacuum control valve the same for V8 and 6 cylinder?
