Does anybody have a pic of what the connection looks like where the engine gauge feed wire connects to the oil pressure sending unit.

There are three wires in the engine gauge feed:

White/Red goes to oil sensor
red/Green goes to positive coil post
red/white ??????

Also I'm confused as to where the red/white wire connects, does anybody know? I was think temperature sending unit but I'm not sure.

Dont have a picture but it should be a terminal end with a nut over it or a metal fitting that slips on snug over the threads sticking out of the sending unit. On my 69, the water and oil pressure wires have a slip on, 90* fitting. Looks kind of like a miniature 90 degree spark plug boot. The coil has a circular terminal end which is secured by a nut.

I AGREE

I totally agree with the connector configuration. they are black 90 degree connectors. Also, make sure they fit snugly onto the stud. I had one of mine roast itself on the manifold once. If they dont fit snugly then gently use a pair of pliers to close the gap. look inside and you will se the split that needs to be closed up for a good contact. :nice:
