1968 Shelby Convertible - Auctioned at $350,000?

I got a phone call about a 1968 Shelby GT-500 Convertible recently auctioned for the above figure, or close to it. Did anybody see it, or has info on it? I am wondering if it is a car I found years ago, and used in a magazine article. If so, I know the full history of the car.

Any info is appreciated!

Not to change ther subject but theres a 500KR fastback with under 7000 miles on ebay right now, was over 200k last time I looked.

Well, my comments on that sale are the same as any Elen*****.

Not Original, just a gussied-up Mustang. As long as the buyer is happy with what he bought, so be it. I won't recognize it as a Shelby.

Now back to the original thread question, was that the car, or was the one I was asked about an original?
