Just tried fitting my new Power Brake Booster and noticed there are (5) studs on the boost. (4) long and one about a 1/2" long. Well...... there is no existing hole in the firewall to accept the short stud? Any ideas?

Yeah. Converting to power boost requires removal of the nuts from the pedal bracket, and drilling one new hole in the firewall.

If I must....

The issue I have is the car was a factory disc/drum setup and I am leaving it that way. This is a factory Mach I built in NJ Feb 26 1969. I hate drilling additional holes but will follow instructions.

If it was factory disc, it already had a booster. Where is that one?

Dont know

Well, you see its like this. THe car was orginally to be completely done by a body shop until I saw too many horrifying attempts to assemble it correctly. (wrong length and size bolts, loose or missing hardware etc)So, when I pulled it from them to cut my losses they did not give me all the parts back that came with this complete car. I have asked repeatedly with no cooperation. I wont make that mistake again.

Power Brake Booster Adapater plate.

Hey folks, found out there is an Adapter plate that went missing. There is no part numner in any of the assy drawings noting this. It looks to be about a 1/2" thick and made of stamped sheet metal. ANy ideas where to find one of these?
