I have a 2.8l v6. The intake manifold has a weird carb bolt pattern. I am planning on using a 2300 bolt pattern for a Holley 2 barrel Snipper EFI. Can anyone shed light on this bolt pattern or know of an adapter? Thanks.

The 2.8 has the 2100/2150 bolt pattern (standard 2-barrel) unless someone has removed the upper part of the intake (you can separate the pieces).
I believe that gasket is for the lower part and the upper / spacer bolts to that. Below is a picture of one, I don't believe this is the spacer that was used on a II (mine has the egr mounted directly in front) but hopefully illustrates the idea of what you're missing.

I don't imagine it'd be too tough to find the whole intake manifold in a junkyard, and there's also an Offenhauser manifold (hard to find and expensive) that allows a Holley 4-barrel to bolt on.

Long story short, that's not a weird carb bolt pattern, but the bolt pattern of the spacer / egr assembly that your intake manifold is missing.
