Exactly. The closest a Fox Mustang can get to a musclecar is a bare bones no option 5.0 coupe, but even then it's still a pony car.

im glad everyone else in this post knows what a true muscle car is lol ...i sport two pony cars...and theres nothing wrong with that name i dont see why you would get mad by it being called that?? my friend/builer has a 91 gt hatch with a stroker 460...536 or some huge number i forgot its in the 5 hundreds though and it is insane he even takes it on the streets very briefly but all in all it is what it is a pony car...calling it that dosent make it anyless powerful.....face it camaros are pony cars!

Yeah i'd say if anyone is insulted, it would be the Camaros and Challengers and others who were nick named after the Mustang....i mean, "pony, mustang"...lol
