I have a 1985 CJ-7 with a 5L out of an 89' Mustang. Just recently the engine would take tons and tons of cranks to start when cold. Hot starts would be really easy. Now the engine will not start at all, I have replaced the cap/rotor, plugwires, plugs, coil, and fuel pressure regulator. The only problem I can see is that the fuel pressure seems to be high. I'm thinking it is just flooded on start. Does any of this sound like it could be a specific problem? I can give you guys whatever info you need to help me solve this problem.
Thanks,
James L.
