Progress Thread 1985 Gt I Finally Have A T Top Car.

I am doing my best to spend much wiser compared to my 93. I am also trying to not cut corners and do things correctly, I hope to keep this car around for a while .

No real updates since I am still waiting for parts.

I did this quick before/after

I think I am going to ditch cruise because I hate the stock wheel. I remembered I had this on the wall in the shop, same one I have in my 93 and I love the look.

I found a set of new BBK shorties I want to check out $100 brand new never used, yes please.

I bought the headers, unopened BBK 1 5/8" shorties( PN 1515) for $100 pretty good deal.

So I am hoping LMR has a nice 4th of July sale planned, If so then I will likely pull the trigger on a x pipe and catback of some kind.

The $500 x pipe catback combo is tempting as hell but I really dont want the car loud.

Is Magnaflow still the way to go for a good catback that is not too terribly loud?

My current setup happen on a budget and because the old system had to be replaced. It's basically the noise level of an off-road flowmaster setup and a place holder for now. I still enjoy an exhaust on the loud side.

IMO magnaflow or bassani is the way to go. Or a catted mid-pipe with no mufflers and tail pipes.

I have a magnaflow muffler on my truck and it's perfect.

It is on the new suspension, it is not done but I wanted to see it on the suspension
