I am offering my Southern California 1986 Mustang GT convertible for sale. I've owned the car for over 14 years and it's been a weekend love affair. Now that I'm retired (almost 62), I'm going to sell it or complete it and keep it till i die (I'm obviously conflicted). The engine was done 4 years ago and has just 6,000 miles on it. I installed a Zex Nitrous System on it a year ago and have only run one bottle through it.. Even though it is incredibly quick, it has never been raced or abused. I drive it like an old man (which I am). The five speed is original and shifts easily and smoothly. The factory air works great as does the cruise control.

The Not So Good:
Although the seats are in excellent shape, the door panels and carpet need work
The convertible top needs replacement (no holes or leaks).
The top motor will only bring the top half way up or down (pull or push it the rest of the way). That will need repair or adjustment.
One window motor is sluggish (I have the replacement)
The power door lock switches need replacement (I have them)
Although the body is straight, it has dings and scratches and should be refreshed.
