We are selling our 1986 Mustang LX 5.0 5 Speed Manual Transmission Convertible. It has 77,000 original miles with the EFI 5.0. It was mostly a Orlando Florida car that has been completely undercoated. In the last year it has had: New Tires, New Cat-Back Chrome STS Exhaust, New Brakes Including Drilled Front Rotors, New Water Pump, All 4 New Shocks, New Fuel Filter, New Plugs / Wires / Cap / Rotor. It Runs /drives / shifts just like new, and has not been tampered with.
The top is in good condition with a few cracks along the seams and works as it should without leaks. Rear window is glass, clean, and clear. We also have the White Leather cover for it when it is down.
The paint looks good, but the hood and trunk could stand to be repainted if you are fussy. They are sun faded with the clear coat peeling. The only rust is on the inside bottom of the doors.
The interior is in overall nice condition and factory white leather. The front seats are splitting a bit at the seams, and the dash is cracked in a few spots, but has a nice cover on it.
That is it. This is a solid classic car that has never had any damage to it, never been raced, always been adult owned, and is very nice to drive. From what I have been told, it is a pretty rare car as well...
