1987- 90 seats the same as '91 - 93 except headrest?

Fox sport seats came in 3 styles, 87-89 with adjustable thigh support and large headrests, 90-91 with adjustable thigh support and small headrest, and 92-93 with solid seat bottoms and small headrests. Now I would assume the 87-91 seats themselves to be the same, with the only difference being the headrest, but I haven't looked at them side by side to make sure. And of course the kits are sold based on the headrests and seat bottoms, so they keep the 87-89 and 90-91 as separate kits. Maybe call Mustang Parts & Accessories - 50resto and ask them if the 90-91 kits will fit a 87-89 seat if you use the 90-91 headrests.

the grey color is a shade different i know that but i am pretty sure the rest of the seat is the same other than the headrest. you might be able to swap your headrest over though

the plug for your lumbar is different, not sure if your swapping or using the style.. but for sure your plug is different. I ran into that myself.
