Like mentioned before start with a good car wash, then clay bar it, then get a good medium/light compound to buff your cars paint with a DA polisher. Go to LMR.com for trim paint and other goodies for your car. The thing about Foxbody 5.0 cars is that they look the best in stock form for the most part. Most anybody will tell you the things that looks the best appearance wise is going to be stance (lowering kit), wheels, new OEM style head and tail lights, and maybe some window tint. These upgrades will help improve your cars appearance a lot!!

Also, if you are going to daily drive your car make sure you do a full tune up to ensure you get the most reliability from your car.
Something quick and easy that makes a HUGE difference is to run a coat of semi-gloss black along the horribly ugly spot-welded seam flange under the rocker panels.
There's always the don't park next to a curb option.
I drive a plain-ol GT and I'm downright OCD about where it gets parked. Always outskirts of the patking lot..
