Hello, my 87 GT recently has not wanted to crank with the key. I'm able to start the car by jumping the starter solenoid, so I initialy thought the starter solenoid was bad, and replaced it, but it made no diiference. My next guess would be the clutch saftey switch, but I thought I'd ask before I spend more money. Has anyone had this issue before? Thank you!

You could jumper the clutch safety switch connector to see if that's the culprit. Or, if you have a meter, you could check the switch for continuity when closed.
