1988 Mustang GT TKO 500 Install Questions

I have everything needed. Tranny, bellhousing, slip yoke, new clutch, aluminum flywheel, fluid etc. I know I have to modify the crossmember. My main question is....the car has longtubes on it. 1 5/8". Am I going to have to take these damn things off to put the tranny in? I'm hoping I won't have to b/c I JUST put the things on right before the T5 flew apart again. And if theres anything else I need to know please tell me! Thanks!

as far as anything else, cant recall that you need anything else. as fr the longtubes, i have no experience with that and it being in the way. sorry couldnt be of more help buddy

as far as the headers go I can get away with taking the pass side header off or loose as it is to get the bell housing up in there,

good luck what kind of bell housing did you buy?

If the Bellhousing is a lakewood, do yourself and get the extended clutch fork from pro-motion.
