Seen some old post but was wondering with all the new stuff that has came out what everyone is running for suspension on a weekend cruiser? Was thinking about doing Steeda springs and shocks on the back and QA1 Coil overs on the front, but am one of those guys that would rather pay and do it once and get it right.

This. If you want a little drop and performance then run some H&R Super Sport coil springs with new isolators and some Bilstein dampers and call it a day. Check your control arm bushings and ball joints up front and control arm bushings in the rear (would advise some good LCA's like Maximum Motorsports, some new stock UCA's, and replace the UCA bushings in the rear end). If you do not already have caster camber plates then get the Maximum Motorsports units as none of these cars are in spec now that they are 30+ years old.
