1989 aod tv cable to bbk throttle

He guys quick question. I’m working on a freind of mines car and he has a aod and I swapped the throttle from stock to the bbk 65mm and the tv cable won’t fit through the hole. It’s smaller than the stock one. He order the cable from lmr that I added here. Will this work because it does say carberated and I don’t see a video from lmr on this part. The tv cable they installed was discontinued

That doesnt look right. Can you take a pic of your setup? To me it sounds like you are missing the bushing for the cable

I’m not close to the car & wont be close till few days. I suggested to him to buy it & I don’t think that’s it either . I just need a way to swap out that bracket

I appreciate that but I figured that one out. There was a washer I. The throttle lever and all I did was pop it out and hogged out the hole popped in bushing
