I agree with the anniversary year not adding value. He said the lowest he would go is $9500 I thought it was still high. What I like abou tithing his that it is the original owner and only 86 k on it.
My plan for the car is to keep it stock for a year or two and then figure out what I want to do to it. I want a clean and stock car to start with.What would your plans be for the car? Drive it as is? Are you going to get the HP bug? Suspension bug? Are you happy with factory handling and performance?
I'm restoring my 88' Coupe and I know I already have lots of money into and lots more to go, I'll be $12-15k into by the time i'm done so I understand the value of that car already having clean interior that needs nothing and a good paint job. Talk that guy down to $8k'ish and only do tasteful mods and you'll keep the value up.

I value Fox 5.0's differently than others because it's hard to find that mustang your considering for cheap. The cheap ones are beat up, need body work and paint, engine work, interior is stained, ripped and needs replaced and to get those cars to run and look decent it takes several thousands of dollars. Why not get an unmolested 5.0 that already runs and drives and looks great? You can skip to tasteful mods and enjoying right away. What's the dollar value on not having the headaches and burn out that we go through by restoring a car that isn't worth half (or less) than what we put into it?
If you guys were selling this 90 GT, how much would you let it go for? This is a rare find if this car runs and drives well, is well kept and needs nothing!
Seems like a very nice car, but like others I have a hard time justifying the price. It is not a 5000 mile car or any limited edition or Cobra. To me it's about a 5-7k car depending on your location. For that price you can get a Cobra.
