FOR SALE: 1990 Ford Mustang LX 5.0 5spd.
1 of 516 LX sport convertibles built in 1990 wearing Wild Strawberry paint. 50k original miles (have the carfax to prove it), clean title, 3rd owner, 99% stock, the only modification it has is Flowmaster mufflers. This car has no rust. I bought this car in 2004 with 42k miles, it’s been garaged kept and covered since I’ve owned it and it has not seen rain in 9 years. I’m looking for $6000. NO TRADES, NO LOWBALL OFFERS.
The car is located in Bristol, CT.
The Good:
-Everything works; lights, gauges, windows, heat, top, cruise.
-In 2007 I installed: Motorcraft plugs, Ford Racing plug wires, PCV, air filter, valve cover gaskets, serpentine belt, speedometer cable, vss sensor, temp and oil pressure sensors and both battery cables.
-2009: New Diehard battery, Brake fluid and coolant flush, Replacement aluminum radiator and all new hoses, Fuel filter, MSD coil, cap and rotor, Smog pump.
-2011: Front brake pads and rear shoes.
-2013: Ford Racing water pump, Motorcraft 180 thermostat, fan and fan clutch.
The Bad:
-A/C could use a recharge. (it’s a convertible)
-Top is showing some wear. (it is 23 years old)
-Speedo needle jumps around a bit under 40.
-Temp gauge reads low. (car does not overheat)
