Don't know what Oreilly's is? Is it like a Pep Boys? At the time, it sounds like your injectors aren't pulsing. You are going nowhere like that. Where do you live again? A miata that wants to run for pinks is an interesting idea if it'll run on a track instead of the street.

tell the guy u were bullshi%ting and offer him a beer!! miata super i have seen take down srt4's!! bone stock but hell u are not running a whole lot yourself.. 120 shot, shift wrong or blow your bottom end out and hell you are the guy everyones is laughing about.. u might want to eat some wheaties for breakfast come race day!!!!

I was curious so I just tried it in my Cobra and hit 132 in a half mile, i think it would of only hit 120 or so with stock gears. So at MINIMUM put gears and you might not loose your Stang to a Miata, which violates several Mustang Man Laws

And if he is only hitting 120 something is wrong B/C with Nitrous and a S/C he should have at least 300 RWHP and at that weight he should be @ 130-135 mph in a half mile Am I wrong?

yeah oreillys is like pep boys and i live in iowa, and im not going to back down now im either going to have a new mazda miata or he is going to have a brand new 1990 mustang with a blown engine because im sure if it slips out of gear and spray it it wont last long as bad as that sounds "go or blow"

My old '03 BRP supercharged Miata was transformed from a 15.9 stock, to a 13.5@105 mph in the 1/4 mile with the A/A intercooled supercharger setup. The Miata was extremely fast to 125mph, after 125 it would start to struggle to 135mph. My Miata did not have NOS, I think he has the advantage.

I would not race him!
