even if they win, you cant judge a game based on one drive, one quarter, one half. You dont watch much football do you?

Washington holds them to 2 field goals the last two trips into the end zone. Could have been 21-0 but is 13-0. Washigton needs to get some points at some point though.

I agree.. I've been very surprised by it so far. But it also helps that it's the first regular season game wtih the new installed offense for the 'Skins and they're still adjusting to it.

That was terrible clock/game management at the end of the game by Washington... that was just ridiculous.

I'm always going to say the Giants will lose, anyone on here that dislikes someone else's team will always take a dig at them whenever they can, this thread has always been like that. Not everything I post is a "prediction" when I do that I'll make it clear....crystal clear. Its not b/c of the Superbowl but Ive always dislked the Giants and Eli, I'll never support them in anyway, same as w/ the steelers and indy, I always want them to lose.

Honestly the Giants played better and worse then I thought. Eli looked like the Eli of old at times, poorly thrown balls, forced passes that should have been thrown away. The defense played very well but then again it has yet to be seen if they are still that caliber of defense or if Washington was having a hard time adjusting to the new offense.

My other concern w/ them is that the offense scored 0 points in the second half, they came out strong and then sputtered. Still just the first game of the season can't analyze it to much but I'm just saying.

Thats what i'm saying. Even if its team's i don't like ITS FOOTBALL!!!!!


I think the Giants D played very well, however it is the first game of the season and both teams had some pretty obvious missed reads, ran wrong routes etc. Giants offence came out punching, but died in the second half as redline said. If they want to go anywhere they have to score more points on offence NO DOUBT.

Eli looked good the first half, however some drives SHOULD have been TD's. There were some plays where the Old Eli would force it (he still ended up forcing some plays hence the pick) but he did a decent job of throwing away the ball when nobody was open. Something the older ELi would have never done.

All in all, its a win. It wasn't pretty but wasn't terrible.

FOOTBALL WHOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I could sit here and try and rip Eli and the offense on everything they did wrong but the bottom line is they won, not every game is going to be a solid win, hell the patriots have had many sloppy wins but all in all when your team comes away with a win its all that matters, there is always time for improvement.
