Wow! What a week for football. Here's my take on the Broncos game, although this time I must say that I was watching the game at the sports bar with other Bronco fans and for some reason the game didn't get recorded, so I couldn't go back and watch the game again and I'm going off memory...take it for what its worth.

- Still extremely impressed with Cutler. Horrible decision with the red zone interception but beyond that he still played excellent. The first TD to Scheffler was a great pass threaded on a needle in a confined area with defensive players everywhere. The last TD and 2pt conversion were also excellent passes.

- Would like to see more of a running game, but Selvin Young showed alot of good moves again and may retake the starting job. Andre Hall will probably be serviceable and Pittman is a good short yardage and receiving option, but I'd like to see an improvement.

- Extremely glad to have Brandon Marshall back. He made Cromartie (aka Deltha O'Neal 2.0) look like an bozo. Also this is the 2nd week in a row where players have committed personal fouls against our players seemingly out of frustration.

- O-line played great again. Obviously SD has a much stronger defense than Oak does, but Cutler was still pretty much unpressured during the game.

- I'm worried about the defense. We dominated a poor Oak team and then had trouble against SD's good offense, so I think we're probably middle of the pack. We do need a legit MLB and our youngsters on the D-line need to step it up. Obviously we are going back to the Super Bowl days where we relied on a powerful offense to get a quick lead and then let our defense attack, but we just don't have enough talent on defense yet.

So I think we've established ourselves as the team to beat in the AFC West since we now beat the Chargers and the Raiders and Chiefs suck. Our offense is going to be great this year, now we just need the D to step up and start making more stops.
