Dumbass just about threw another pick. He cannot get any zip on his throws and the defenders keep jumping the routes.

I'm so glad Rivers is in the AFC West.

Edit: Missed a wide open receiver down the sideline. Threw a floater and the corner got caught up.

Touchdown Chargers!!! WOOO!!

No, i'm not switching my allegiances to the Chargers. I can't stand them. But i'll pull for anyone playing the Jets, unless it's the Cows.

Chargers are exposing themselves in the middle with their blitzes. They either need to move the safeties up or change up their blitzes.

Well it appears Antonio Cromartie is trying to elevate himself from "complete garbage" back to "Deltha O'Neal 2.0" status.

It could've been a smart move if it had paid off. The Eagles did that last year against New England right after they scored a TD and recovered it; caught the Pats completely off gaurd and it was one of the big plays of the game that kept them close.

EDIT

Farve is looking a bit better late in this game but the jets still suck

WTH = pats lose one game and you guys are already looking at getting a high draft pick in the draft? Jesus Brady is one player. There is still a whole team that needs to fail before you guys call this season a waste season.

As I said the day of the brady injury.. any game they win with Cassel they are lucky.

Thats why I was so happy about a week 2 win over the hated jets

They might win 8-9 games maybe ten if they are lucky..

I know some of you will disagree but I rate brady as the greatest to ever play the game.. cassel is a subpar QB.. Even if you think brady is not the best all time he is in the discussion..

You take a all time great out of the most important position in football and replace him with a guy who could not start in collage what you get is a offense that goes from the highest scoring of all time to a offense that can hardly score..

Some people calling into WEEI think the pats defense is the second coming of the steel curtain and it is NOT..

The 03-04 defense was very good but this defense is above average but not great and not enough to overcome a weak offense..

They have a very good line ( that played bad on sunday) old linebackers and one rookie linebacker who is good.. a average at best secondary...

And now the belichick factor..

I think belichick is a great defensive mind but look at his record with and without Brady..

I hate to say it but joey porter is right.. THIS IS NOT THE SAME TEAM WITHOUT BRADY. and the wheels can come off the wagon very fast if belichick and the rest of the staff does not figure out a way to keep the offense on the field longer and to score some points. Sure brady is only one player but you have to remember that one player is the most key player on this team and without him they can not run the offense they built the rest of the offense for. This has a huge impact on both sides of the ball, one from a confidence factor and the other is tiring from the defense being on the field much longer than last year.

50 combined points against three weak teams is horrid.. the brady led pats with these weapons score that in 1 game against subpar teams like that.

Hopefully Cassel can turn it around and score some points. If he does not he can kiss the NFL goodbye after this year..

You and me, both. Brett is a much better fit in Green Bay than Rodgers. Rodgers will be pretty good in time, but not Brett Favre-good. IMO, the Packers could've beat Dallas had it been Brett instead of Rodgers.

And now.. My week 3 Superbowl picks

Chargers vs. Cowboys

Chargers look like the best team in the AFC, despite their record. They're 2 seconds and a blown call away from being 3-0. Broncos might be 3-0, but they have no defense. Whenever somebody figures out how to slow them down, they'll be in a bad situation... but until then, they'll continue to put up big numbers and I think they'll make the playoffs as a wild card team. If Gates and LT get to 100% by the end of the season and they don't suffer the major injuries in the playoffs like last year, I would bet the Chargers will win their division and go the the SB... AND.. I think the Chargers can BEAT the Cows. The Cows gave up a LOT of points and allowed Philly to almost score at will and I think the Chargers can put up a lot of points on them and hold the Cowboys down for a little bit. Chargers have already shown that they can put up a ton of points, scoring 110 points; altho they've given up 94, I think they'll get their defense fixed and learn how to work without Merriman and get pressure on the QB's.

Chargers - 34
Cowboys - 31

Another 3-point superbowl win, going to come down to the last couple possessions for each team.

And i'll adjust my superbowl picks every couple weeks according to which teams are up or down. Would I bet money on these two teams going? Nah.. but it's fun to speculate and change it up every few weeks according to how every team is playing.

Damn.. Steelers are having a bit of bad luck now.

Willie Parker out next week and is week-to-week with an injury and Big Ben is beat up now, but is still expected to play next monday.

They can't afford to lose Roethlisberger.. that'll be very bad for them. It won't help his injury any next week since they're playing the Ravens, I bet he'll be on his back as much as he was this past weekend.

Damn, I feel like a post whore.

Yeah, Steelers got beat up pretty good last week.(which was great watching )It is still going to hurt them with out Parker. (I can say he is the one Steeler that I do like). He helps them out alot on offense, then with Roethlisberger hurt, there going need to really play this week if they want a win(hopes that they lose though )
