I can definately say I'm a fan of the Bills. There's been no bandwagon to jump on for a decade!

Ok so let me ask you this question, would you rather go 16-0 and blow everyone out but lose the Super Bowl or go 10-6 and win the super bowl? Yeah I thought so

Someone will win the superbowl every year w/ out a doubt. Very unlikely for anyone to go 16-0 for a long time.

You always have the chance to to back to the superbowl, the likely hood of repeating at 16-0 or ever doing it again is so slim I dont think it can be measured. Over all the Patriots have 3 superbowl rings in recent years and a 16-0 season. I'll take that any day over 1 superbowl win this decade.

Wait a minute - you'd take last years Patriots team and their outcome over a superbowl winning Patriots team that wasn't 16-0 during the regular season???

I was in High School when I watched the Patriots lose to Green Bay in the superbowl, I liked them before then but I cant pin point the day/month I can say I was a patriots fan.

I like Ohio State and Michigan. I have no rhyme or reason for liking Ohio State except for the fact that I just do, I cant even name off the QB or RB but I still like them to do well. I like Michigan b/c Brady played for them.

Everyone likes teams for their own reasons, You cant denounce someone as a fan of any team just b/c they dont fit a certain criteria , that's just ignorant. No one has to explain or have it makse sense for why they like any team of any sport.

You are not a true fan of a team if you also root for their bitter rival. Thats not ignorant thats just part of being a fan.

I dont see too many Red Sox fans saying they love the Yankees or North Carolina fans cheering on the Blue Devils.

meh, depends on your definition of a "true fan." there are NO rules that state you cant be fans of multiple teams.

hell, i go for FSU when they're not playing SEC teams, cause they're another florida school! same goes for UCF and USF. All that, even though i'm a UF die hard.....

not to mention i ALWAYS cheer for SEC teams (regardless of wh othey are) when they're playing anyone other than florida

Ok I lost all respect for you as a sports fans when your teams are the Yankees, Red Sox, and Cardinals. That is the definition of the Ultimate band wagon fan If you are a true fan you cant root for more than one team let alone three and two of whom are bitter rivals. You are in Alabama, that would be liking Bama and Auburn.

For example I am a Colts fan and not of any other team. I like to see the Saints and Bears win because their QBs are from Purdue and I want them to do well, but no other reason.

You cant be a fan of the Yankess and Sox. Thats like being a Colts and Pats fan or Texas and Oklahoma or Ohio State and Michigan. It just is impossible.

Oh btw when did you start following the Pats? If you say 2001 or later you are not a real fan.

I started liking the Pats around the late 90's. I'm only 22, so it wasn't that long ago that I started finally understanding wtf was going on in football.

I can be a Cardinals, Yankees, and Sox fan if I want. Who's to say i'm not a true fan? You certainly can't denounce anything. If you think you can, then YOU are the ignorant one.

I don't like the Sox as much as the Yankees and I don't like them as much without Manny. But, they're a Boston team and I support every Boston team; Celtics, Bruins, Pats, Sox, and even Boston College. I might not live in Boston, but I love the history of that town and the history of it's sports.

I hope you're a Baltimore Ravens fan, because the Colts used to be in Baltimore. If not, then you're not a true fan..... do you see the ignorance in that? That's just plain stupid.

I like Ohio State, but I like to see Michigan do good because that's where Brady went. I cheer for players on the Raiders, Eagles, Jags, Bears, Falcons, Cowboys, and Broncos.. why? Because they're former Razorback. There are other teams, such as the Colts with Tony Ugoh. I pull for the former Hogs to do good because they're my home state team.

Speaking of, I feel like i've lowered my IQ replying to that ignorant statement.

I realized something interesting today.. Peyton Hillis is on the Broncos. I saw him play a couple times in junior high, high school, saw him in '06 and '07 at Fayetteville playing for the Razorbacks, and now i'll see him in the NFL. So that means i've seen Peyton Hillis play in every level from jr high to the NFL. That's nuts!! I'm kinda pumped about it because he's actually from the town I live in now.

#1 Peyton Hillis fan right here!

I was born and raised into a Giants loving family. I have always been a Giants fan.. There are other teams who i like to see win, and i have my reasons for why i like them, but if any of those other teams play the Giants, im first and foremost a Giants Diehard

I'm not stupid. I started liking the Giants in the 1980's. Became a NFL nut around 1993 and really haven't missed any Giants games since.

On a side note.. Troy Polamalu had something interesting to say about all the fines being handed out for the big hits that have gone on lately in the NFL.

When you see guys like Dick Butkus, the Ronnie Lotts, the Jack Tatums, these guys really went after people. Now, they couldn't survive in this type of game. They wouldn't have enough money. They'd be paying fines all the time and they'd be suspended for a year after they do it two games in a row. It's kind of ridiculous.

I kinda agree with him, it's making it "soft". As much as I'd like to see guys not get hurt, they seem to be getting a little fine-happy for any bigger hit.

Huh? Eli was body slammed into the ground by fatman Shaun Rogers after he threw the ball and nothing was said at all about that play. What play was a fair hit and got fined?

Man some of you guys get riled up quck eh, I was kinda saying that in jest but anyway.

But as to your Ravens comment, they moved to Indy when I was 3 years old. I have been a Colts fan since about 10 or 12. Most of the people in Norhtern Indiana were Lions or Bears fans back when I was a kid, I just didnt want to be the same old so I liked the Colts. Now up here its probably 60 bears 40 colts. It sucks actually because the bandwagon fans are the reason season tickets are a giant waiting list.

But even if I became a Colts fan when they moved here in 83-84, that doesn't mean I have to be Ravens fan too since they played in Baltimore. I don't think too many Browns fans like the Ravens.

I guess we see things differently, I just know I would never root for Indiana or Notre dame since I like Purdue, and I would never root for the Patriots.

I wasn't that riled up, I just wanted to prove a point. I don't particularly care for people that say I can't be a Sox/Yanks fan, but I am.

How many superbowls have the Giants one since 2001... ONE

How many have the Patriots won..... 3

In the over all aspect If I could have last years superbowl win and nothing else or take the Patriots success over the past several years w/ out last years superbowl I'll take the amazing run they are on. Giants have one once in how many years? Patriots have won it how many times in the past several years? See my point. Other then last year what have the giants done? Not much of anything...how dominant have the patriots been for so long now? Im comparing the whole aspect not just last season.

No your the one thats nuts b/c you think a sports fan is determined by a prescripted set of rules. Anyone can like any team for any reason that's their choice, who are you to say someone is real fan of a team and someone else is not?

Who cares if I like Michigan and Ohio State, I have my reasons for why I do and it does not have to make sense. Just b/;c it does not fit your criteria of a "true fan" does not mean $hit.

Damn.. I think he'll be really good later down the road. He just needs some experience under his belt and he'll be one of the better backs in the league, imo. I just hope I get to see him carry/catch the ball at least once monday night!!

In '06 I watched Ole Miss play at Arkansas, so i'll get to see BenJarvus Green-Ellis again too. He was a hb for ole miss and now plays for the Pats.

yeah but that is not the same thing as liking the red sox and yankees..

As a lifelong red sox fan I respect the yankees and back in the 90's I admired the team they had but I could never root for them...

I have met real yankees fans from new york, and most of them feel the same way about the sox in recent years. When i was getting my hybrid cert last spring I talked baseball for hours with a tech from a ford dealer in the bronx, cool guy did not like the sox but he respected them, but he knew his baseball and he had some pics of the new yankee stadium under construction that was cool.

Funny thing the week before that class we were in the yanks got swept by the rays and he was telling me he thought they were for real, he went to two of the games and predicted they would make the playoffs over either the yanks or sox..

LOL i never thought he would have been right, now the sox are down 3-2 to them in the ALCS, I would have never guessed that.
