First lets start off by telling you what happened.
Currently i am in the process of installing a turbo kit. But i am not very far along, i have only mounted the front mount innercooler, and piping, (just mounted). And then I Took off the upper intake manifold too install the injectors (38lbs) and the Programed (for the 38lbs injectos) Maf.
While the upperintake manifold was off and i was already more than half way to the lower intake manifold, i had a new lower intake in my house i decided to just replace it, cause a month or so before i installed the newer upper .
So I removed it, Finnaly installed the new one, and the injectos and matching maf....
so after installing these , my car wouldnt start, I checked the inertia switch, and i set it back to normal, and still wont start.
Here are some of the things i found out what i did was wrong, maybe you guys can help me un-do or fix my mistakes.
Releave the fuel pressure, I though this meant to just trip the inertia switch, Thats all i did when removing the fuel lines and injectors. (a little gas came out not much.)
if i didnt releave the pressure, what do i do now?
I did not treat the o rings on the injectors. Didnt know i had to. (would this make my car not start?)
I also learned i needed to do a oil change , cause the coolent mix's with the oil while removing the lower intake manifold.
So I Did that , Still wont start.
I smell gas everytime i tried to start it, It doesnt even try to turn over , just wont start, i guess like a lack of fuel??
so then i thought maybe i have the vacuum lines mixed up, after searching i found nothing that gave me a good enough disciption to help me. and i bought a fuel pressure reg. with my turbo kit, and was going to install it but have not do so, WOuld that help with the new injectos?
I have a walbro 255 fuel pump comming in soon, Think this would help? (with my staring problem, i know it is needed with my turbo kit)
i changed the fuel filter.
Still wont start. I dont know, i thought maybe my throttle was not sittlng right, but i fixed it to the best of my knowledge....
Any input would be great guys, i totally messed this beging part of my project up, and if you guys could help undo these mistakes, I've been stranded at home, the last week or so, with no car, and would like to get out
I really appreciate it, thank
Edit: Also one other thing, I removed the distributor and perhaps this is why it wont start, wrong firing order, could someone explain how to correctly set this from a wrong setting (it's set wrong, how to fix it)
