What year lower ball joints should I be installing in my conversion? The stock 1992 replacement won't work with the SN95 spindle (stock control arms 92) as that shaft of the 1992 ball joint is too tall, the nut wont tighten all the way...

thanks

How much will the cars clearance be lowered once I use washers? the stang is already lowered and trying not to go too low...

My understanding is nothing is lowered, the spacers are used to "fill" the space so the retaining nut can be tightened (they go on top of the spindle).

I just noticed that you're using 97 spindles? Here's the maximum motorsports fact page that has all info about when to use the 96-04 spindles (other complimenting mods).

I replaced my control arms with the Ford racing arms, so I didn't want to mess with changing balljoints. I used used a .330" tall spacer I machined myself. I believe 5/8" ID washers will also work
