1993 460 swap

This is my progress thread on building my 93 lx mustang in a 460 bigblock. I paid 800 for the car with 148k and it ran great. It was an auto with a 4 cylinder.
I am going from efi to carb and this will be a budget build up.

I started with pulling the engine, cleaning and painting the bay. I used tractor supply gloss black paint. Its shiney, durable and last forever.

Here is where Im at today with the motor. 1971 460, clean and honed, stock crank, rods and pistons. Cleaned and honed, new bearings, rings and gaskets. FMS 460 swap pan and motor mounts.

use photobucket, I like it alot better, and is that a "croaker" fish?? BTW can you post some pics of your vert? I want to see if I would like my car a lil more race-lik with a cage, but can't find any pics I like. Thanks
