hey guys im new to the site. and was looking for some of you die hard mustang guys opinions. i currently own a 2001 lightning and was going to do a built block but came across a 93 5.0 with a 347 stroker for the price of a new motor for my truck. the body and interior is in good shape but im looking to stay ahead of late model camaros with mods, with whatever my decsion is. so how fast are these cars with the stoker motors and what would i need to make this stang a 10 second street vehicle,i know the car dosnt have any turbo's or a super charger and im lnot ooking to do nitrious. so any of your opinions are appreciated and will help me decide which path i should choose

Well, I've been in a vert with a 347 stroker and it was FAST. Wasn't my car so I don't know HOW fast but it plastered me to the seat. Almost soiled myself too.

Depends on how much horsepower it has. Most likely 400-450. With great driving and good supporting mods high 10's would be possible! Any power adder added would depend on the block. 500HP is the total max the stock block can handle without splitting in half! So find out the HP and a mod list and we can better assist you.
