The front bumper cover removes very easily. If you own a Fox Body long enough you'll eventually remove it. That's the best to determine what's going on underneath there and will need to be done either way. If I recall, it's a total of 12 bolts.

you west coast guys got it easy, half the NE stuff, the hardware is panel bonded back on after they destroyed most of it pulling it the first time.

It's true. Mine is a Cali car. Even my engine mount, and K-member mounts are nice.

That bumper support is for a pre 87. The 87-93 had the fibreglass bumper support like this...

To me it looks like the bumper was trimmed too low (behind the cobra insert) and left no support to keep straight. That combined with black paint in hot sun has softened the plastic in the middle section leading to the droop.

I would try a board of wood or two as a spacer under the bumper cover (sitting on the support) and let it get hot in the sun and see if it straightens out on its own. Other wise you are looking at a replacement bumper cover.

Now a pic of the backside of the bumper cover - especially by the grill area.

My white gt beater is a NY car, every damn bolt and nut on the front clip was jacked when I got it... Had the nose replaced at some point from a light hit, rails not even buckled, but damn the where a monkey ing a football with the hardware, globs of jb weld holding stuff in. I'm just glad I have family in body shop trade or I'd be paying stupid amounts for 3m supplies to repair stuff like that on the beaters I pick up, even had a 87-90 front spat glued up to stay on 93 fenders, Mstng93SSP off here, hooked me up with a 91-93 to fix it.
