93 notch black on black,20% tinted windows all the way around,alarm that pops the trunk and rolls down and rolls up the windows.15,by 8 weld draglites with 275 50 15 mickey thompson et street radials , and 15 by 5 draglites with 195 60 15s,black interior , white faced gauges ,white face autometer oil water and volts gauge in the center air pod,5"tach,tremec 3550 with a pro5.0 shifter ,4.10s in the rear stock posse,stock axles,maximum motorsports lowers and frpp uppers that i boxed myself,aluminum driveshaft,welded subframes,fully welded torque boxes,pace setter longtubes 15/8 offroad X with cutouts and a mac catback,coil over front suspension and A arms with lakewood 70/30s and 50 50 lakewoods in the rear with drag springs and an airbag,griiffin radiator ,black magic fan,gt 40 intake ,130 amp alt, msd 6 al,under drive pullies,....now the bad ......engine bay is still red but all other jams are painted black,stock longblock with 160 k on it what d you guys think it worth with the trade of my 01 gt

I've had my fair share of fox 5liter Stangs, and to be honest, i would just keep your '01 GT... It's a better platform... better handling, more comfortable, etc. To me, the fox Stangs are nothing special anymore.

Unless you're looking to get this fox and make a pure race car out of it for the track, your current GT is worth a lot more, and probably more fun to drive. Just my .02...

the 302 just has a lot more potential than the 4.6....thats the only reason i am considering going to an older car also he should give what the car and 3-4k sounds fair right guys?

Its all in what u want....It seems like 5.0's last just as long if not longer than 4.6 motors & they are just as reliable...gas mileage aint as great, but who buys a stang for gas mileage??? A fox might be a little less comfortable, but cmon, its the same chassis, the suspension & brakes can be upgraded easily...its not like the 94-04's ride like cadillacs or anything???

Ive decided to keep my 95 for now, but I am still willing to trade it for a nice 87-93 fox LX, or 85-86 GT (with 87-93 drivetrain) in similar condition to my 95....

That is a clean car , but for the mods that hes got done , its still not worth $$$ wise what your car is , now if he had built engine and aluminum heads and some other things done it might be a fair deal ........

He'll NEVER get $6000 for a 160,000 mile fox. He's dreaming. The mods on the car aren't anything special. Those are typical 5.0 mods that are on hundreds of other cars out there. Plus it's a color change which decreases value because engine bay is different color than body

You could prob squeak out $11K for your car.


He'd prob get $3000 for his. Any more is robbing the other person

It's the pistons that changed.

87-92 = forged


93-95 = hypereutectic



I think the 4.6 motors use hyper pistons in the GT as well
