1993 Upper And Lower Manifold

Hello all, I am currently in the stages of converting my 1990 GT into a cobra clone. I looked everywhere for a upper and lower cobra manifold, but no luck. Is there a site where you could buy one? Thanks In advance

I would suggest you go to your local auto part recycling center and pickup up an explorer GT40 intake.They flow the same as a cobra intake but don't cost nearly as much.

I would agree.

$75 for a virtually identical explorer intake, or explore the used market for a Cobra version for 2x-3X the cost.


FYI, the Cobra intake has been discontinued, even the Chinese knock-off. Buying a used one is the only option at this point. personally I'd just go with an explorer intake. Mustang enthusiasts seem to get some sick pleasure in picking apart 93 Cobra clones, so a few strategically "wrong" parts may call off the dogs.

^^^ this.. Unless you HAVE to have a Cobra, get the explorer intake from a 93-96 and have the lower ported by Tom Moss.
