1996 Cobra

Quick question. Just bought a cobra in excellent condition and only 18k miles. Noticed the power steer fluid was low. Is this normal? Didnt notice any leaks yet. The engine bay is clean. Is there anything I should look out for?

Hi, Depending on how low it is, if there’s a leak it can only be from the Pump, Steering Rack or the lines between. If there’s no Oil under where the Car was parked, nor a greasy feeling in the Engine bay, no loss after tipping the Fluid off, I’d not be concerned with it. Maybe a new Pump was installed and Fluid not topped off afterwards.
