1996 Gt Np I Cams

Look into MHS cams, I like the fact they tailor to the NPI heads as well as the PI guys. Comp's entry level cams aren't bad, but 2/3 of their cams are IMO too big for a DD/mainly street car (which is what most of us have). I don't know what the 2.73s are like in a 96, but I went from 3.27 to 3.73 in my 97 4.6 Tbird and it was night and day. My 96GT has factory 3.27s, so it's hard to compare our cars directly.
