1996 Mustang GT 4.6l, Overheating

I hope someone on here can help me, I have a 96 Mustang GT 4.6l that has started overheating on me. I have redone this car from one end to the other trying to get it to go WOT. I got that fixed I spent 4 grand just to find out it had a vacuum line removed, now it's overheating badly if I run it very hard it'll overheat fast and it can set at a idle and it still does it. Can someone please advise me on what I can do to resolve this problem? Thanks in advance.

There are several ways to start the trouble shooting. But if this were my car I would CONFIRM that the cooling fan actually works on BOTH speeds when powered directly from another power source such as the car's battery. An easy way is with two test leads (or scrap wire). Best to use a fused jumper if available.

Spin the fan by hand. Does it spin freely? Do the bearing feel smooth?
