1997 Cobra Replacement Shock/Strut

Does anyone know what type of struts came factory on the 1997 Cobra? Also, does anyone have any recommendation for aftermarket replacement shocks. I would prefer either exact replacement OEM or something that might improve handling but doesn't alter the ride quality much. Thougts?

I would give the folks at Maximum Motorsports a call - they are pretty reputuable when it comes to mustang suspension stuff. I'm sure they will be able to answer your questions.

A good aftermarket strut that is better than the oem and easy on the finances are the Tokico blue's.

I may contact Maximum Motorsports. I am not familiar with Tokico. How is their ride quality? Are they stiffer than OEM? I was thinking about KYB. Does anyone have any experience with thier stuff on a Cobra?
