1998 4.6 dies when hot

Ok...I have a 98 4.6 and after I drive it for about 20-30 minutes the car will die acting like it runs out of gas and wont restart for around 20-30 mins., if I try to restart the car right after it dies it will run poorly for a split second. The MIL (check engine) light does not come on and there are no codes being set at this time. I have checked the fuel pressure and that is good. I have replaced the CKP because it was cheap and easy, and still have the same problem. I took a look at all of the TSB's and found nothing. Does anybody have some ideas?

I had a similar problem back in one of my old fox body Mustangs. It was the alternator to battery cable. It took me months trying to figure it out. I did a PA performance alternator swap which required upgrading the wiring. The old one was very brittle, and after the change, never had another problem. So check out the electrical side...my guess anyways.

Could be the throttle control motor. Mine was not overheating but had the symptoms. it was that.

Hook up a scan tool and read what the temp sensor is telling the computer. mayby its thinking its way too cold or hot and pounding fuel in or starving it?
Thats 1 possibility.
