so i'm back from the dead. after 3 years.

i'm very happy with my car once again. I'm glad it was only my MAF sensor, I'm still going to get my shiftkit done next thursday, I will redeem myself at the track on Saturday.

Once again any tips? and what you guys think i will run? Make your bets people!

My car ran 15.9 when I bought it.

For comparison my 07 Focus ZX3 ran 16.72 @ 83mph.

That's more like it. With a shift kit, crank pulley, 3.73 (or 4.10), and better traction you might just squeeze a 14.9.

Obviously your time is in Canadian seconds. When you take the exchange rate into account, 15.63 Canadian seconds is a high 14 in American seconds so congrats!

At any rate, I think with the addition of only 4.10 gears and the appropriate tune, you will be solidly in the 14s. Keep in mind that you don't have much seat time either and this is huge.

Did you try to let the air out of the tires a bit? People on here are saying you need more traction.... no offense to you, and as I think you already know, you're not making a huge amount of power. With practice the stock suspension should be giving you enough bite at your current levels. One thing that will keep the car from getting squirrely on you are subframe connectors. They are real short money and worth every cent! My stock suspension + subframes took me into the 13s.

i just notice i have horrible reaction time... lol
every one is getting .33 or .2 mean while i'm like +1

Am i really slow with my reaction, like do you guys have one foot on the brake and one on the gas or somthing?

haha thanks black95GTS

No offense taken i just want my car to drive right, i had my goals set for last night,
i was aiming to hit a high 15 and i got right in the middle.

The best part was, on the track. I raced these Hondas, Mazda 3's. they get a little head start, but its fun, to real em in.

Thank you to every one on stangnet
