I meant 2.1 I guess 2.2 was the old one.
So over the last week or two I have done a ton of reading on the Kenne bell 2.2. I have decided to go with it over the centris because of what I want from it. You all really seem to know your stuff so I was looking for a little input that I could use some help with.

Im gonna be running it on the stock long block for now. Eventually be going afr 185 and 331 down the road a ways. Just looking for something to have a blast with and be quicker. I have the GT40 lower and I will be getting a Lightning Maf with 42#ers. Torn between the megasquirt or the TwEECer at this time(more research for me haha).

I saw this, "No EGR but external can be fabricated for 50 State Legal."Does anyone know how I could get an ARB number or something so the smog tech wouldnt fail me? The quote is here. http://www.allfordmustangs.com/reviewpost/showproduct.php/product/246/cat/3
Im really confused on this smog thing for the blowzilla, because there is a member on another forum that has the older 2.2 flowzilla and the number on the front is CALIFORNIA LEGAL here is the post. http://www.sn95forums.com/forum/index.php?topic=18400.0
Could I just email KB and order that sticker from them and hook up an EGR?

Does the KB place inlet where say a trickflow or a fox style intake put the inlet to their intakes? Im asking so I can connect the EGR to an elbow.

Im looking to make 330-340hp to the rear with my current set up. What size pulley should I get? This is where im lost the most. I really have no idea what size I should go with.

This is alreay long enough so ill end it right now Im sure I will think of more later. Thanks in advance!

My current mods are full exhaust, U/D pulleys, Mac CAI, 75mm TB, 93 cobra intake and some suspension/chassis mods.

Man, I really need your guys help now. I emailed KB once and got nothing, emailed them again 5 days later and I got a ONE sentence answer to only one of my questions. Pretty lame, I was expecting it though.

I got my KB a few yrs ago, went with the smaller one...but if I remeber right the "flowzilla" manifolds don't have provisions for the EGR,,,,the "blowzilla" ie the big blower, can be had with normal manifolds...again if i remember right
just some food for thought.....KB should be able to tell you what size puley you need, mine came with a 6, but it made 8 out of the box
enjoy, they're a good time

Don Lasota has very usefull info about kb blowers for our cars. I used him for chip burning last summer and questions regarding proper install (great guy). http://www.lasotaracing.com/tech.html Regarding the EGR, it is mounted on the elbow, but that is hot gas entering the blower. IMO I would have it turned off part of the chip burn and use the wazee EGR block-off plates found on Ebay.

Thanks for the info guys. I will be getting some kind of tuning device before I even get the KB. I will have all that turned off most likely and when smog comes around turn it back on. The thing is they are cracking down on people with modded cars in my area pretty bad and if they feel like being messed up they can search my car for "illegal Modifications" based on me having tinted windows and a loud exhaust thats all it takes. So I need to have it hooked up so that it looks legit and come smog time it actually works.

As for what pulley size, I emailed them about and a few questions on the kit being legal or what would need to be done and got a one sentence answer saying that they wouldnt recert the 2.1 cause Jim doesnt want to and thats it. So still looking for suggestions on the pulley also.

I have seen peopel say that 1psi is about equal to 10hp-15hp. My mods I should be looking at about 230. If its10 than I would wanna go with like a 9 or 10lb but if its 15hp than im gonna just do like a 8 lb.

What do you guys think about getting that sticker from KB? Think it would work to pass smog? The 2.2 flowzilla looks exactly like the 2.1 on the outside except the front part of the case near the snout has that small circle popped out.

Thanks again Much appreciated.
