2.3 and 2.8 clutches

What is the main difference with 2.3 and 2.8 clutches? I bought a brand new 2.8 clutch and installed it on a 2.8, but stopped on that project and went to a 2.3 and wanted to use the new clutch. I know that they both use the same starter, so whats the difference with the clutches? thanks!

The 2.8 is a V6, isn't it? I'm not too sure if that'll work.

yeah it's a V6, but I would think the 2.8 clutch would be a heavy7 duty 2.3 clutch. (That's what I'm hoping anyways)
