I've got a 2.3 in an 88 and I was wondering if I should keep the stock manifold or install a header. I've got a Hooker header on my 78' that i'm not using right now but the thing is that it's a long tube header and no emissions and round port. Now since it's exhaust and the exhaust is going form a D-port to round port, there shouldn't be a problem there right? Getting rid of all emissions going to hurt anything? What can go and what can't as far as emissions? (there are no emissions testing where i live) And would I install the 02 sensor at the collector of the tube? Thanks!
