Hey guys, I've always been thinking of doing a 2.3 to 5.0 swap in a late eighties fox body. Just recently I stumbled across a 302 out of a 85 LTD, it's a TBI, is this engine worth anything? This motor was going to be the one I rebuild for the swap. I tried playing with it the other day, but the engine wouldn't start. I do believe it's not getting enough current. I think something is wrong in the wiring, only the amp light comes on in the dash even with new terminal ends and battery. Also, I'd like to note the vehical hasn't been started in 10 years, what should I check out to see if it's worthy of a rebuild ?? Also to convert it to multiport injection I would need heads, intake, wiring and computer, right? That's all I got for now, thanks for your time.
