i am planning on building 2.3 turbo. Im planning on getting 400 hp First what size turbo would be the right size. second i am using the factory comp. (for now ) is there a way to change the air fuel ratio to be able to run E85 which is like 7.5:1
You need more than just a bigger turbo to make 400 hp...to go that high you also need bigger injectors, and a standalone system or a custom tune for your computer.
And, you'd need even bigger injectors to run E85. By "Factory comp" I assume you mean factory computer....the computer "as is" can't run any bigger injectors than whatever it originally had (biggest injectors in a turbo car were 36 lb/hr). Again, you have to have a custom tune or standalone for bigger injectors.
I'd be planning building a steel crank'd forged everything motor if you're looking at 400+
Standalone systems are pretty cheap, 200-300 bucks.
Don't put a huge turbo on it. Find a ct26 or something off of a supra, stuff a 61mm wheel in it and there's your quick spooling 400hp turbo.
550cc injectors, walbro 255 pump, and that's about it I think. BOV and IC are a given too.
