How do I adjust timing on the distibutor for a 2.3 L 4 Cylinder? I just replaced the timing belt and the car is running hot and Flat with little push on the acceleration.

Thanks for the help.

PS.. This car has always needed to have the AC/Vent on when it is warmer, is this normal for this engine or is there a temp sensor that I need to replace and of so where is it. I just put in a new water pump and thermostat when I replaced the timing belt.

You need a timing light...

Hook it up, disconnect the SPOUT connector (small plastic plug on the harness that plugs into the TFI module), loosen the distributor hold down bolt. "Shoot" the timing light at the crank pulley and adjust the timing until it's around 10-12 degrees BTDC.
