by chance i am getting a free 2.3l and tranny that i will try for my first rebuild. i figure it's good to start small and work up. what can y'all suggest? the 2.3l bottom end isn't that strong is it? the TC's have low comp. pistons and a stronger block, corrrect?
should i try a little p/p on the heads and intake, what are the stock flow #'s and what tips can you guys offer. basicaly i am new and just want to "make it work". also i will be wanting to replace some parts if it's cheap or free from the JY.
what are running 90k mi 2.3l n/a w/ auto tranny worth anyways? once i rebuild it i will sell it.
