Hey guys, I had posted something about this before and everyone keeps telling me that the fuel lines to the stang will bolt right up to the fuel rail from the stang. But this is not the case on my car. They are about 2 inches apart. I checked the fuel rails and the mustang one is about 3-4 inches longer than the turbocoupe.

So, my question is: What is the best way to extend the fuel line hoses? Is there a plastic hose inside the rubber one?

Thanks

yea the fuel lines are 2 peice. If I were you I'd get a section of rubber fuel hose and hose clamp it right on the metal fuel line, and chop off the end of the rubber/plastic deal and join the 2 with a double barb fitting and hose clamps. I'm gonna have to do something of the sort myself cuz the end of one of the metal lines snapped when I was removing the hoses.

Some people will insist on keeping the fancy couplings that take 1/2 hour and a trip to your autoparts store to disconnect, though I never saw the purpose of them.
