2.5 or 3" exhaust on my 97?

I have a choice of a 3" x pipe with 3" catback or a 2.5" prochamber with 2.5" flowmaster catback for my 97 cobra. The 3" stuff is super nice but I am affraid I will lose HP with a only 4.6 liters NA. What do you guys think?

3" is way too much for a n/a Cobra. Definately go with the 2.5" unless you plan on turbo'ing soon.

What if I use the 3" x and 2.5" catback, will that keep the back pressure in check?

Just use 2.5" throughout the exhaust.

Thanks guys. I think I'll keep the 3" unit in storage incase I end up with a 5.4 or a blower later on!
